Anees Bazmee films are known to be multi starrer affairs. SINGH IS KINNG, WELCOME and NO ENTRY were all star studded affairs. Same is the case with NO PROBLEM as well though IT'S MY LIFE is a relatively smaller affair with Harman Baweja and Geneia D'Souza as the only lead couple with Nana Patekar heading the cast. In the past though, Bazmee has made less opulent films like DEEWANGEE and PYAAR TO HONA HI THA.
For his next film READY, Bazmee seems to be following the same path with Salman Khan and Asin as the only lead pair, says a media report.
"That's right, the only hero and heroine in READY are Salman and Asin", confirms Bazmee who is currently shooting for yet another mega star-cast affair THANK YOU which features Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitly and Rimmi Sen, "However, as is the case in all my films, READY too would have number of other important characters. I am looking at around 20-22 of them."
The shooting of the film is expected to begin soon after Bazmee's return from Canada. After wrapping up the first schedule of READY, he would be heading into THANK YOU again. Shooting of both the films would be practically happening in alternate schedules.
Describing the genre of READY, Bazmee reveals that it would be basically a comedy affair. "Comedy is an integral part of READY. However, there would be some action and drama as well", he reveals.
