Academy Award winner Jeffrey D Brown's film 'Sold'.The duo, who have composed music for hit Hindi films like 'Band Baaja Baaraat', 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' and Fashion, have composed two songs for the Hollywood project. Their Hollywood film deals with the issue of human trafficking but it has been shot in India.
"The makers called us saying they wanted us to do the music for this film. Though it is a Hollywood film but its
roots are Indian. The subject is intense, powerful and heavy but it was fun doing music for it," Salim told PTI.
"It feels great opportunity to be a part of this project as the theme of the film is about human trafficking. We feel fortunate," he said. "One is a celebration song and other is a wedding song. We have given a kind of music that will appeal to all," Salim said. Their upcoming Hindi films include 'Satyagraha', 'Krrish 3' and 'Kanchi'.
