Mumbai, March 19 : Rupesh Paul's debut film "Saint Dracula 3D" has been given an 'A' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification, even after some cuts. The director is upset.
"I am extremely upset with the censor board. There are some lovemaking scenes in the film, which shows partial nudity. That has been completely chopped by the censors," Paul told IANS.
"It gets very difficult as we have to re-edit many scenes as they have chopped 40 to 45 seconds of the film. The audience would think its immature editing and they will not blame the censors if the film is not in sync," he added.
Paul, who is extremely upset with the censor board for chopping many scenes from his debut film "Saint Dracula 3D", says he has uploaded the uncensored version of the film on YouTube.
"I have uploaded the uncensored version of the film on YouTube. I don't want the viewers to suffer because of the censor board," he said.
Paul is currently gearing up for his second film "Kamasutra 3D", while "Saint Dracula 3D" is slated to release March 29.
"Saint Dracula 3D" is a different take at the age-old tale of Dracula since it presents Dracula as a romantic hero in contrast to the popular image of the blood-sucking vampire.
