Priyadarshan is known as one of the biggest hit-makers in Malayalam film industry and he made an entry in the B-town with a remake of his film Kilukkam. Though the original movie was a hit, the remake was a complete disaster.
But Priyadarshan didn't lose hope and made many other remakes of his Malayalam films – Gardish, Virasat, Hungama, Hera Pheri, Hulchul and many others which were successful enough.
Despite giving several hits to Bollywood, Priyadarshan has some disaster movies in his list as well like Saat Rang Ke Sapne, Kabhi Na Kabhi, Yeh Ter Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar!
The director returned to the Malayalam film industry after his recent movies didn't do well at the box office.

But apart from all the controversies he gets into, RGV has been a maverick filmmaker of not just in Bollywood but also in the Telgu film industry. Before the director made his debut in the B-town with the remake of his film Shiva, RGV had made his foothold in South.
After his debut in Bollywood, the director gaves hits like Raat, Rangeela, Satya and many more. But after a row of flops he had suffered in recent times in Bollywood, specially the disastrous remake of blockbuster ‘Sholay' as ‘Aag' has made him get back to Telgu industry.
