Mumbai, Dec 23: The gang-rape of a 23-year-old in the capital has shocked the entire nation. Writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar feels such incidents can be avoided only when society starts respecting women.




"Strong laws, gender sensitive police, fast track courts are not enough. Society should learn to respect women. Stop domestic violence," Akhtar tweeted.

Anupam enjoys dubbing for 'Special Chabbis'

Actor Anupam Kher, who is dubbing for Neeraj Pandey's "Special Chabbis", praises the entire team for giving their best.

"'Asli taqat dil mein hoti ha'..' Dubbing for 'Special Chabbis' is such a joy. Everybody has given their best," tweeted Anupam.

Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal play lead roles in the film that also stars Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam.

Ashish New Year's resolution - movies

Actor Ashish Chowdhry, last seen in "Double Dhamaal", says his wish list for 2013 includes doing some movies.

"Got to start planning for my New Year's resolutions from today. Too much in the list. But getting back in front of camera is definitely one of them," Ashish tweeted Sunday.

The model-turned actor started his acting career with TV and featured in shows like "Humko Ishq Ne Mara" and "Hum Pardesi Ho Gaye". Later he moved to big screen and did films like "Dhamaal" and "Shaadi Ka Laddoo".
