New Delhi: The 'Queen' of Bollywood, Kangana Ranaut has hogged all the appreciation for her movie. Her stellar performance in Queen made her win the best actress award at the 60th Filmfare Awards.
The actress couldn't grace the event and so the legendary diva of Bollywood, Rekha visited Kangana's house with award and flowers. Both Rekha and Filmfare is celebrating 60th year and so Rekha surprised Kangana with her gesture. Indeed a unique way to receive award!
While talking to leading English daily, the actress said "In the night, at 3 o'clock, Rekha ji came to my house with the award and flowers. Isn't that amazing? Isn't that the most amazing thing ever? I mean, I was like, 'What is this?' Beyond awards, beyond appreciation, beyond hit and flops. I mean, I wish my parents were here so that someone could share this thrilling moment. That gesture and courtesy of Rekha ji is beyond everything. I was with my friends and was shocked and very impressed that I had been given the award despite my not being there."
We are sure Kangana will cherish these moments for lifetime.
Vikas Bahl's coming-of-age drama Queen triumphed at the 60th Filmfare Awards, winning in key categories including best film, best director and best actress for its lead star Kangana Ranaut.
The film bagged six honours in total - best editing to Abhijit Kokate and Anurag Kashyap, best cinematography (Bobby Singh and Siddharth Diwan) and best background score for Amit Trivedi.
