Mumbai: Veteran actress Rekha's much-awaited film ‘Super Nani' will release this Diwali when superstar Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Happy New Year' will also hit the screens.
‘Super Nani' has been confirmed for release this Diwali on October 24, a press release issued here said.
Touted as Rekha's long awaited comeback to mainstream venture, the film also stars Sharman Joshi, Shweta Kumar, Anupam Kher and Randhir Kapoor.
The film gives a strong message to women that their power lies within themselves.
Rekha plays the role of Bharti Bhatia and Sharman essays the part of her grandson in the movie.
‘Super Nani' is co-produced and directed by Indra Kumar.
