New Delhi: Actor Ranveer Singh and UTV motion pictures CEO Siddharth Roy Kapur are facing a huge problem by the cyber world.
The fake sites opened in the name of the duo have asked emerging actresses or models to send their bikini pictures.
Ranveer and Siddharth learnt about the imposters when few actresses called them up to confirm that they had received bikini pics.
Ranveer said in an interview to daily news, “I've been plagued by the nuisance caused by imposters on social networking sites for some time now.”
While Siddharth Roy Kapur added, “Yes, this is extremely disturbing. We have filed a complaint with the cyber crime cell in Mumbai and the matter is currently sub-judice. I am just glad we got to know about this sooner rather than later, else this imposter could have duped many more people from the industry.”
There are numerous fake accounts which are opened in the name of Bollywood biggies and imposters are using it as a means to tarnish their images and playing with the sentiments of their fans.
Recently Siddharth Malhotra sued an imposter for using his name is selling goods worth thousands.
