Mumbai : Encouraged by the UP & MP govt response to her film Mardani, Rani Mukherji wants it to be declared tax free in the entire country. Rani Mukherji said on wednesday that she also wants censor board to review the A certificate so that the message of the film reaches to a larger audience base and girls over 12 years can see the movie.
Mrdaani has been given a tax free status in UP & MP.The Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan praised the movie on social medoa also.
The film makers are expecting a favorable response from Maharashtra and Gujrat government also. The film deals with the issue of human trafficking and has Rani Mukherji playing the role of a tough cop fighting against child traffcking. The film has been widely appreciated by audiences, police & politicians.
