Playing Shivani Shivaji Rao, Rani looks completely powerful and heroic in ‘Mardaani' and the film seems to be yet another women centric flick.
The character however, takes grounds from a real life story of a female officer who solved various child trafficking cases in Mumbai.
Directed by Pradeep Sarkar, ‘Mardaani' appears to be adding to the strong acting prowess of Rani Mukerji Chopra. The film was in news as newlywed Rani started shooting for it just a month after getting married. And what a splendid come back it is!
Moreover, Rani has been addressed in the poster of ‘Mardaani' as ‘Rani Mukerji' and not as Rani Mukerji Chopra.
