New Delhi: Actress Rani Mukerji, who is expecting her first child with husband Aditya Chopra, is hospitalized after attending a Diwali bash recently.

The lady was spotted gracing Amitabh Bachchan's Diwali bash with her irresistible ‘pregnancy glow'.

But it seems, the celebrations exhausted her too much as the soon-to-be mom was admitted to hospital over the weekend.

The news was confirmed by Rani Mukerji's spokesperson who said, “Rani Mukerji was admitted to a hospital as the doctor felt she needed to rest for some days under medical supervision. She was being discharged, but chose to rest in the hospital for a few more days as the baby's room is being prepared at home and she wanted to be away from the dust and noise. She is perfectly fine and all is well.”

“Rani did not look sick, but extremely tired. She has been advised bed rest. The actress had been left weary after attending some industry Diwali bashes,” the source further added while speaking to a leading daily.

Well! We hope Rani gets over this exhaustion very soon and prepares herself to welcome the baby in this world. Her delivery date is expected to be in January next year.

Good luck Rani!
