New Delhi: Salman Khan, who recently turned 50, had thrown a lavish birthday bash at his Panvel farmhouse on Sunday. Along with the superstar's family members, the grand party witnessed a number of Bollywood stars who came in to shower their best wishes on the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' actor.
This was indeed a special night for Salman as everybody joined him in his happiness and multiplied it folds. However, there were few celebrities, who inspite of being close to Salman, decided to give a miss to the party.
It was the B-town couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif who gave a royal ignore to the Bhai's party. Sources say that Salman had personally invited the duo but they still did not come.
Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor has been trying to avoid Salman Khan ever since he started dating Katrina Kaif, who was Bhai's girlfriend before and that is the reason he decided to not attend the birthday bash.
Katrina Kaif, who recently said that Salman is her dear friend didn't go to wish him as she did not wanted to go without Ranbir. Some reports even suggested that it was the ‘Tamasha' star who himself stopped Katrina from visiting her ex-boyfreind.
However, Katrina did feature in the special video that was made to surprise Salman Khan with wishes from his close friends like Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha etc.
