New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is having a tough time on professional front these days.
The actor, who once had took over the B-town first with his chocolate boy image in ‘Saawariya' and later with his intense acting skills in ‘Barfi', is now dealing with a hattrick of flop films.
After the grand success of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' in 2013, Ranbir Kapoor failed to give a single hit film. Instead, he made a disastrous decision for his career with ‘Besharam', ‘Roy' and not to forget the epic failure ‘Bombay Velvet'.
Now Ranbir Kapoor will soon be seen on the silver screen with his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone in ‘Tamasha'.
While the ‘Barfi' star feels there is a pressure on him to deliver success with ‘Tamasha', he also fears that his career is about to get ruined now.
Ranbir Kapoor was spotted making this shocking statement in context to his upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos'.
Helmed by Anurag Basu, ‘Jagga Jasoos' has been in the making for over two years now, and only 50 per cent of the film has been covered up yet.
Although Ranbir Kapoor, who is also producing the film, is confident of wrapping up the film on time, he is also scared that ‘Jagga Jasoos' might ruin him if shelved.
While talking to a web portal, Ranbir said, “Jagga Jasoos is being made for the past two years and if it doesn't release, I will be ruined. I am the producer! Hopefully the film should release some time in June next year”.
So far, there had been rumours about ‘Jagga Jasoos' being re-shot because of certain alterations, However, junior Kapoor cleared the air saying, “Nothing is being reshot. We have shot 50 per cent and will finish the rest of it between January and March 10 next year.”
Jagga Jasoos is the story of a teenage detective played by Ranbir Kapoor, who is in search of his missing father. The film also features Ranbir Kapoor's lady love Katrina Kaif in the lead role.
