New Delhi: Roy is affirmed to star Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead roles but unlike a movie that is supposed to be promoted with all its actors together, it's only Arjun and Jacqueline traveling place to place to endorse this flick.
The Kapoor scion has been missing from all the promotional campaigns, except the one which took place on Monday, giving rumour mills fodder for gossip. The romantic action flick is slated to release this Friday and beside trailers, songs and the brilliant star cast's aura making viewers curious about the flick, the promotional spree, which gives a perfect finishing to flick's advertisement has been a bit cold.
Ranbir's absence has been considered the biggest reason as among all three he is the one being mostly looked forward to. The actor plays the title role in the flick and if the producer Bhushan Kumar is to be believed then this itself is the reason why Ranbir is not wanted in the promotions since any little information by him will lead to expose his character, which thereby will lead to loss of viewer ship.
On the other side, it's also said that Ranbir in place of a lead role has an extended cameo appearance in the flick. According to TOI, Ranbir doesn't want to steal the limelight from Arjun Rampal to whom the flick belongs and therefore he isn't stepping up for advertisement.
Last but not the least, its also being murmured that RK is unhappy with his limited role in the flick and so he is least bothered about joining the other cast in promotions.
Well, Roy is one of the most anticipated flicks of the year and if the buzz is anything to go by then it surely could make mammoth collection at box office too. We wish it does so with three greatest stars in it while the rest will be known when it finally releases.
