Mumbai: Tamasha stars Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor along with director Imtiaz Ali travelled from Mumbai to Delhi by train to promote their forthcoming film.
As the "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" actors set their feet on the platform to catch the Suvidha train from Mumbai Central station, their fans could be seen chasing them.
"Aannndddd the journey begins!!! #Tamasha27thNovember #jimitstshirttore!," Deepika tweeted on Sunday.
The duo has been going all out with promotions of the film. They were to travel to Delhi as part of the film's promotions and they made sure to make it special. Flight tickets to Delhi were cancelled and the team booked an overnight train instead.
Deepika and Ranbir had a great time travelling in the common man's vehicle, as they chit-chatted and enjoyed the food inside the train.
The on-screen couple even went inside the pantry car and saw how the food is cooked in the running train.
When the train reached the Vadodara station at 8:15 pm, Ranbir and Deepika met and greeted the fans there.
And not only this, RK and DP also get down at Kota station at 3:20 am and talked with the people. They also enjoyed tea at the station.
During the journey, India TV's reporter Sarita Singh did an exclusive interview with Ranbir, Deepika and Imtiaz. She asked about their ‘train' journey memories and upcoming movie ‘Tamasha'.
