Chennai: From superstar Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan to other yesteryear's actor namely S.S Rajendran, Manorama, , Sharada, Sowcar Janaki, Jayaprada, Kanchana, Jamuna, Krishakumari, Jayasudha, M.N Rajam, Rajashree and Sivakumar were honoured at the centenary celebrations of Indian cinema here Saturday.
The four-day mega event from 21st to 24th September kicked off on Saturday. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha, who was the chief guest of the evening, honoured all the awardees with a miniature model of bioscope for their contribution to Tamil cinema.
