“The (medical) reports are normal and he is first class...he is fine now. He is at home and happy.” Reportedly, Khanna was hospitalised following uneasiness and weakness on Monday night.
Khanna's actor-wife Dimple Kapadia, with whom he has separated, was by his side during hospitalisation. “She was by his side when he was in the hospital,” the spokesperson said.
The veteran actor, considered the first superstar of Bollywood, has appeared in over 150 films. He is also a former Lok Sabha MP from Delhi.
Khanna, fondly called ‘Kaka' by his fans, ruled the industry in 60s and 70s with hits like “Baharon Ke Sapne”, “Anand”, “Aurat”, “Aradhana” and “Raaz”.
