New Delhi: Emraan Hashmi's starrer Raja Natwarlal may not be his best at box office but is still managing to do a decent business. The flick after faring well on Friday collecting Rs 6.10 cr had a minor decline on Saturday making Rs 5.25 cr taking the two days total to Rs 11.35 cr nett in India.
The Kunal Deshmukh's directorial failed to receive much praises from critics; however, some sections of the audience are enjoying it which could help in bringing up the business slightly if not sharply.
Also Raja Natwarlal's opening day collection is Hashmi's seventh best after Raaz 3 (Rs 10.47 cr), The Dirty Picture (Rs 9.54 cr) Jannat (Rs 8.52 cr), Ghanchakkar (Rs 7.2 cr), Murder 2 (Rs 7.1 cr) and Ek Thi Daayan (Rs 6.24 cr).
Mardaani, on the other hand, has witnessed a decline in its collection in its second week. On the eightth day of its release, the Pradeep Sarkar directorial made Rs 1.7 cr but surprisingly witnessed a rise on Saturday where it garnered Rs 2 cr. The nine day collection of the Rani Mukerji starrer now stands at Rs 26.70 cr nett in India.
While the flick already was given thumps up by the critics, the tax-free step in different circuits has added to the footfalls in numerous theatres.
Singham Returns, which has entered in its third week, has made a rock-steady collection on Friday and Saturday making Rs 1 cr on each day.
The Rohit Shetty directorial has now stands at Rs 137.15 cr nett in India according to Koimoi.
