Puri, Oct 13: Sand sculptor Sudarshan Pattnaik created a sand sculpture on the famous Puri beach to celebrate Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on his 70th birthday.
Pattnaik created a seven-feet sand sculpture alongwith a sandy birthday cake with the message "Happy Birthday" .
He used 5 tons of sand and took 4 hours to complete this sculpture with his students of his sand art institute.
He also used colour sands to create a live image. Lots of tourists and local people gathered at the Puri sea beach to watch his sand sculpture.
"Amitji will get many birthday gifts but I hope this gift will be a unique one for him", said Pattnaik.
Sudarshan Pattnaik has taken part in more than 50 international sand sculpture championships across the world and won many awards for India.
