The latest in this league is Vijay and Sridevi's Puli which is trending on social media today. It is learnt that the trailer of the film has crossed one million likes on YouTube apart from around six million views.
The number of likes is a new record for an Indian movie trailer, overtaking that of Salman Khan's Kick. Now that's something commendable!
Directed by Chimbu Devan, the film boasts of a star-studded cast. While Illayathalapathy Vijay's presence is the strongest USP of the film, the presence of Kiccha Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika adds even more lustre to it.
The film also marks the much-awaited comeback of legendary actress Sridevi to Tamil cinema.
The trailer has further managed to impress the viewers by its brilliant video effects.
The fantasy period drama will hit the theatres on October 1. Before this, Vijay had given two back to back hits and now this film is also expected to be another hit from him. It is also expected to be a thrilling and exciting experience for the viewers.
