Mumbai: Actress Dia Mirza on Friday said the day she lost her father, she realised the importance of family and parents.
“When I lost my father that was the day I realised the importance of family and parents.
I realised how important it is to express our love and care to our parents,” Dia told reporters here at P & G ‘Thank You Mom' initiative.
It was during her International beauty pageant, Dia missed the presence of her parents despite the love and attention showered on her there.
Dia says she had always been a good girl. “I have never let down my mother and would never do so in future,” Dia said.
