New Delhi: Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new venture Bajirao Mastani is grabbing all the limelight.
From its casting to looks of lead actors everything seems to be talk of the town. The movie has again hit the headlines for the dance-off between the two female leads - Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
While Priyanka began shooting for the film last month, Deepika reported to the sets only recently. Onlookers say they could sense an instant camaraderie between the two actresses.
As quoted by a leading website a source from the film's core team said, "We felt there would be awkwardness between them because Deepika has the title role. Also because of her proximity to the leading man Ranveer Singh. But Priyanka has no insecurities or hangups thanks to her chumminess with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The minute Deepika walked in; there were positive vibes between PC and her. They spend a lot of time laughing and chatting together."
Adds the source, “SLB has composed solo songs for both his heroines. And then there is that one peak in the melodic curve when Deepika and Priyanka will burn the dance floor together."
The two actresses were also part of Bhansali's ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela', while Deepika played the female lead, Priyanka was seen in a dance number. Priyanka Chopra was quite appreciated for her item number in the film.
Ranveer Singh is playing the male lead in ‘Bajirao Mastani'.
