New Delhi: Actress Priyanka Chopra made the nation proud and made even more fans than she already has by bagging the lead role in the US TV series ‘Quantico'. The trailer for the show released a few months ago and garnered a lot of appreciation.
While audiences around the world were in awe of Priyanka for nailing the American accent and looking absolutely stunning as FBI recruit Alex Parrish, they also noticed her bold avatar in an intimate scene. The sequence where Alex has sex with a complete stranger in a car grabbed the eyeballs of the entire nation.
For an Indian actress, this definitely was a brave step for Priyanka. Though she nailed the scene seamlessly, she was not entirely comfortable while shooting it.

In a recent interview, Priyanka was asked how she felt about the lovemaking scene and replied, “It was just one hour of shooting and technically a talking scene. More an allusion to making love and what's happening. In pop entertainment it's important to show it as real as it is but what can we do? Quantico is an ABC serial and there's only so much that they can do. Of course, I was very happy with that. I get very shy and awkward doing such things. It's not something that I am comfortable with. But Alex is a modern-day girl and that scene explains that she treats boys like the way boys treat girls, is independent and free-spirited.”
Recently, the first eight minutes of the first episode were released by the channel ABC. In this sneak peek we got better insights into Priyanka's character Alex. The much talked about series premieres in USA on September 27th and will air in India on 3rd October.
