New Delhi: Priyanka Chopra, who signed a one-year TV deal with the US-based studio in December 2014, has been roped in for ABC's (American Broadcasting Company) drama ‘Quantico'.
The 32-year-old actress will feature in the show as a FBI trainee, as mentioned in a leading website deadline.com.
Executive produced by Mark Gordon, Josh Safran and Nick Pepper, the show revolves around a group of young FBI recruits, all with specific reasons for joining, who battle their way through training at the Quantico base in Virginia. One will launch a devastating terrorist attack on the US, Deadline.com reported.
The actress cum singer and former Miss World will play the role of a brilliant but haunted FBI trainee named Alex Weaver, whose past resurfaces soon after her arrival at Quantico.
The actress has been in New York for quite sometime and will remain there for couple of months more. Pee Cee, who was last seen in biopic Mary Kom, will next be seen in Dil Dhadakne Do and Bajirao Mastani.
We could understand her work commitment in Hollywood but we hope that she returns by the time both of her Bollywood flicks are set for release.
