Mumbai: Ali Abbas Zafar, who has directed Priyanka Chopra in "Gunday", says the actress is one of the strongest persons he has ever come across.
"Priyanka is very strong and I feel she is one of the strongest person I have ever come across. I have very high regards for her. She resumed work in 10 days after her father's death and shot for the cabaret dance sequence for the film," Zafar said here.
Her father Ashok Chopra, a doctor who had retired from the Indian Army in 1997 as a lieutenant colonel, passed away June 10, 2013 after battling cancer.
Zafar says Priyanka's personal dilemma of her father's loss didn't affect her work one bit.
"You will not even realize that she had gone through so much in her personal life when you will watch that song. She is extremely professional," he added.
"Gunday", which released Friday, also features Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. The director feels the boys' chemistry is "looking awesome on screen".
