Mumbai: Bollywood actress Neetu Chandra is on a high ever since she joined the cast of Greek film "Home Sweet Home". She believes it's the best time to be a "global actor".
Chandra seeks inspiration from Indian actors Freida Pinto and Priyanka Chopra, who have carved a niche in international platforms. Freida earned fame with Oscar-winning movie "Slumdog Millionaire", while Priyanka has made her singing debut internationally with two singles.
"Today, we stand as global actors. There is nothing like that an actor should do, Bollywood film or a Hollywood film. What is Priyanka doing? Look at her, she is an inspiration. Look at Freida Pinto... so today we are global actors you cannot just sit here and think of only Hindi films," Neetu said here in an interview.
Besides Hindi films like "Garam Masala", "Traffic Signal" and "No Problem", Neetu has worked in Telugu projects.
The actress currently awaits the release of her Hindi films "Kusar Prasad Ka Bhoot" and "Shooter".
