New Delhi: The year 2015 has come to an end and a lot has happened in this year in B-town. From celeb weddings to cold wars to reunions, it was a complete roller coaster ride. But before the year came to an end, it was this big news that became the talk of the town and continues to be the one.
We are talking about the much talked about clash between ‘Dilwale' and ‘Bajirao Mastani'.
‘Dilwale' has an ensemble cast which includes Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. ‘Bajirao Mastani', on the other hand, features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.
The two films have been quite popular ever since they were announced and with both hitting the theatres on same day, i.e, December 18, 2015, the clash became intriguing.
Ever since the release of ‘Dilwale' and ‘Bajirao Mastani', a lot has been said and written about the movies and have been compared on several parameters, be it direction, comparing Shah Rukh Khan with Ranveer Singh or the box office collections.
This was quite obvious, as on the one hand it was Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol‘s magical chemistry and on the other it was Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's historical love saga.
But unlike other celebs who prefer dodging a question over comparison, ‘Bajirao Mastani' actress Priyank Chopra came up with an excellent reply to this tug of war happening between the two movies.
During a recent media event, Priyanka was questioned about her opinion over the clash between her ‘Bajirao Mastani' and SRK's ‘Dilwale', and her reply indeed left everyone stunned as she said, “I don't understand why you guys are so interested in making it a clash. Two films are releasing together because there are only 52 weeks and over 500 films releasing in a year. This is bound to happen. More than the clash, you guys should be happy that our films pushed Star Wars by a week. That's an achievement.”
Well, the diva not just gave a befitting reply to the clash scenario, but also proved it once again that it's her classy attitude that makes Priyanka stand out of the crowd.
