Opted to play surrogate mother
Some topics were left untouched for the sake of not hurting the nation's privacy mode. When big banners were busy making multi-starrer family drama to bring the audience to movie theatres, Preity Zinta was busy ready the script of her next movie based on surrogacy.
Preity decided to go ahead and play the role of a prostitute hired by a well-off family to be their unborn child's surrogate mother in 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke'.
This move of hers was however much criticized and with delay of one year due to the trial of film's producer Bharat shah, the movie failed to click the niche.
Despite of all, Preity Zinta still went on to grab critics' aprreciation.
