New Delhi, Oct 25: Though the film's shooting is on hold due to the festive season but actor-turned-producer Arbaaz Khan has confirmed actor Prakash Raj as the main villain of the sequel of Salman Khan-starrer ‘Dabangg'.
“The extremely talented actor Prakash Raj is the main villain of Dabangg 2,” Arbaaz posted on Twitter.
National award winning actor Raj, 44, has played a variety of roles in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films and was seen recently as the antagonist in Bollywod films like ‘Wanted' and ‘Singham'.
The news comes after it was reported that ‘Dabangg' villain Sonu Sood quit the sequel after hearing the story.
With the action-comedy sequel, Arbaaz will make his directorial debut. The film will also have Salman's bodyguard Shera and is scheduled for a December 2012 release.
