So much was the love between the two that Ekta also gave her a break in Once Upon A Time in Mumbai, where she was casted as the second lead opposite Emraan Hashmi. And after their jodi proved to be a hit, Prachi obviously thought she will be casted in the sequel, which unfortunately for her didn't happen and tongues started wagging about their friendship going kaput.
Prachi Desai we heard was extremely angry with her former best friend for not considering her for the role and instead casting Sonali Bendre in the sequel. After giving 2 flops like I, Me Aur Main and Policegiri, the frustration became too apparent and the desperation for a hit took a toll on their friendship.
But now it seems both the ladies have patched up and also it wouldn't do Prachi any good to get on the wrong side of the mighty Ekta Kapoor, especially when she has no one to count as a friend. So burying the hatchet with Ekta is a wise move both professionally and personally.
