New Delhi: Aamir Khan's blockbuster PK has added another feather's in its cap. After earning the unthinkable Rs 600 cr in just three weeks, the film has added yet another star in it's kitty.

PK has become the first movie to see Rs 100 cr business through e-ticketing. As reported by BookMyShow, The film has made revenue of over Rs 102 crore.

The data shared by BookMyShow states that PK's online sales were higher than Dhoom 3 which managed to earn Rs 47 cr through Internet Sales. The other top online gainers were Happy New Year (Rs 36 crore), Kick (Rs 31 crore), and Chennai Express (Rs 30 crore).

India's box office reportedly sells upto 50 million tickets monthly and out of which 4 to 6 million is sold online. But PK's online booking apparently stood at 6.5 million.  Niche Bollywood films like Lunchbox and Madras Cafe also manage to garner between 40% to 70% of their gross collections.

PK within eighteen days of its release made Rs 607 cr gross worldwide including Rs 150 cr from overseas. This was yet another humongous milestone for this Rajkumar Hirani directorial, which has been on recording-breaking spree since its release on December 19 last year.

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. PK stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt along with Aamir Khan.

There seems to be a cut-throat competition between the best Bollywood flicks. It seems in coming years, films might set a new trend of Rs 200 to Rs 300 crore online club.
