New Delhi: Box office, which was going dry after Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Happy New Year', witnessed a magical spell in the last month of the year with PK ending 2014 on a magnificent note.

Aamir Khan's PK with its 13th day earning of Rs 8.5 cr, which is however lesser considering it was a celebratory December 31, has made a mind-boggling total of Rs 264.27 cr nett in India, according to leading website Koimoi.

This is the highest thirteen days total made by any Bollywood flick ever. Looking at the other biggies with their 13-days collection, Aamir Khan's Dhoom 3, which garnered Rs 252.70 cr takes second spot while Hrithik's superhero flick Krrish 3 is at third position with Rs 221.32 cr collection within the same time period.

This year's release Kick starring Salman Khan made a brilliant total of Rs 211.31 cr nett in India and takes fourth spot. Shah Rukh Khan's Happy New Year made Rs 189.65 cr nett with the same time period.

PK is expected to make a steady collection today since it's a New Year holiday all over the country. That should take PK's two weeks collection to over Rs 270 cr in India while with yet another week of zero competition the movie is expected to dominate the box office. But the big question remains is, will this movie hit Rs 300 cr mark?

It shouldn't be a big problem for the movie to achieve that big target. What's more interesting is that despite facing ire of the religious groups in major cities like Mumbai, the movie's performance is hardly perturbed.

Infact, UP government has decided to exempt the movie from entertainment tax which has added more likes to it while viewers who were brain washed to boycott are making their way now to the theatres to watch the flick. Well, it's a fact that any sort of publicity is a good publicity and this formula is working at large for this satirical comedy.

Here are the thirteen days nett figures of PK-
