The flick is extensively shot in Lucknow and this is Parineeti's second outing here after Ishaqzaade and director Habib Faisal's third after Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade.
Dawat-e-Ishq is a love story with a backdrop of dowry system in the country and it also stars Anupam Kher and telly actor Karan Wahi.
