Chennai, Filmmaker Sekhar Kammula has denied rumours that he was upset with actress Nayantara for not attending the recent audio launch of his film "Anamika", southern remake of "Kahaani".
He says everything is fine between them.
"I have immense respect for Nayantara as an actress. She's a thorough professional and she couldn't attend the audio launch due to sudden commitments. I was not upset with her about it and everything between us is fine," Kammula told IANS.
"She will start promoting the film this week. I'm extremely happy with the way the film has come out. I'm excited as well as nervous about the release," he added.
The southern actress reprises the role of Bollywood actress Vidya Balan in "Anamika", which will release May 1 worldwide in Tamil and Telugu.
The film also features Vaibhav Reddy, Pasupathy and Harshvardhan Rane in important roles.
