New Delhi: Superstar Akshay Kumar turned 48 today. The actor has seen a glorious career in Bollywood and has a huge fan base. Despite not having the surname Khan, he has given competition to the three Khans, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan, on every front.
He is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie, Singh Is Bliing. The movie is directed by Prabhdeva and Akshay will be seen romancing Amy Jackson in it. Apart from Amy, the movie also stars Kay Kay Menon and Lara Dutta in pivotal roles.
The movie is already making all the right noises since Akshay launched its trailer with a lot of pomp and show. It garnered a lot of appreciation and fans are finding it difficult to wait for the movie.
Akshay Kumar had earlier donned the Sikh avatar for his 2008 movie Singh Is Kinng. There was anticipation that maybe Singh Is Bliing is the sequel to this blockbuster movie but Akshay rubbished those rumours soon enough.
Now on his birthday, Akshay Kumar treated his fans with a song from Singh Is Bliing. He took to Twitter to launch the song and said, “Birthday mera aur gift aap ke liye. Yeh Singh da style hai! Watch #CinemaDekheMamma from @SIBTheFilm now!”
