Mumbai, Jul 5: Neha Hinge, who is making her debut in Bollywood with ‘Luv U Soniyo', says entering the industry was never the plan and it happened by chance.

A software engineer from a small town in Madhya Pradesh, Neha won the Miss International 2010 title and since then life has changed for her.

The 27-year-old will be playing the lead in director Joe Rajan's ‘Luv U Soniyo'. “I am a software engineer and doing Bollywood films was never a conscious decision. It all happened by chance and now that I am here I want to explore its depths,” Neha told PTI.

Miss India played a huge role in giving her a quick entry into Bollywood. It was director Madhur Bhandarkar who recommended her to Joe Rajan for ‘Luv U Soniyo'.  It was her father who asked her to grab this film.  “It is because of him that I discovered I can be an actor too,” Neha said.

In the film, she plays the title role of a Punjabi girl ‘Soniyo' who is upbeat, lively, carries positive energy.  Neha feels every girl will relate to the character.

“I took time to say yes to this project as the director was new. How could I have let go an opportunity where my character name appears in the title,” she added.

Neha is paired opposite Tanuj Virwani, son of yesteryear actress Rati Agnihotri and shared a good equation with him on the sets. The film is schedule to release on July 26.
