New Delhi: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is dating actress Katrina Kaif from a while now and their love affair has bagged a lot of attention.
The duo has been quite open about their relationship and spotted together on several occasions.
Infact, Katrina Kaif is also seen gelling up with the Kapoor family giving hype to the rumours about her wedding with Ranbir.
Recently, the adorable couple also walked hand-in-hands at the Kapoor Christmas brunch hosted by veteran actor Shashi Kapoor.
While Ranbir and Katrina did catch the eyes, what also caught the attention was Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor's absence from the family get-together.
Yes! Neetu Kapoor gave the Kapoor Christmas brunch a miss.
There have been several speculations about the reason why she wasn't present at the Christmas party, but Katrina Kaif's presence in the party was rumoured to be the main reason for Neetu's absence.
However, this is not the case as Neetu Kapoor didn't miss the Kapoor brunch because of Katrina. Instead, she had a different reason. The veteran actress was busy celebrating Christmas with her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and grand-daughter Samara at a suburban five-star hotel.
This was revealed after she shared a pic on her Instagram capturing the three beauties along with the Santa Claus.
Neetu, while talking to a leading daily also stated, “This year, Samara wanted to see Santa Claus, so we took her to a hotel, but by the time we got done, the lunch was over at Shashi uncle's place! We sacrificed our lunch for my granddaughter.”
Neetu's statement has finally put end to rumours about Katrina being the reason for her absence. But there's also a buzz that the ‘Ek Tha Tiger' actress has finally been accepted by the Kapoor family as Ranbir's better half.
Katrina was seen spending a good time with entire Kapoor clan at the party.
Infact, Ranbir's cousin Karisma Kapoor also shared a pic on her Instagram account featuring Katrina, Karisma and Kareena in it with a captioned it "3 K's #christmaslunch #lovelyladies".
Well, with all going well in Ranbir-Katrina's paradise, we wonder if we will hear any wedding announcements in 2016.
