New Delhi: Katrina Kaif who has been dating Ranbir Kapoor for a couple of years and even rented an apartment together was cropped out of Kapoor family picture on a birthday party.
It was a common knowledge that Neetu and Rishi Kapoor did not like the idea of Katrina dating their son Ranbir. When Katrina drove straight to Kapoor's residence Krishna Raj last week while returning from Thailand and stayed till next morning it gave a notion that they had warmed up to her.

At the birthday party of Ranbir's cousin Nitasha Nanda a few nights ago, Katrina was seen hanging out with the Kapoor family. She even posed for pictures with the family members including Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor. When Neetu uploaded the pictures from the party on her Instagram, Katrina was nowhere to be found in any of it.
The incident gave an idea that The Kapoors have still not accepted Katrina as their future daughter-in-law. Either Neetu cropped out Katrina from the pictures or she did not upload the ones with Katrina in it.
On the other hand Ranbir is moving ahead in his relationship with Katrina. They have even rented a place on Carter Road together. The apartment in the Silver Sands building in Bandra suburban area is costing the couple 15 lakh for a month. It is reported that Ranbir consulted his closest friends Ayan Mukerjee and Karan Johar before taking the big decision. It is not known if he took his mom and dad into confidence.
The couple had been shooting for their film ‘Jagga Jasoos' for a last couple of weeks in Thailand. The film directed by Anurag Bsu also stars Govinda in an important role and slated to release in August 2015.
