Actor Prachi Desai grew a year older on September 12, and for a change she ushered in her birthday with a party with her near and dear ones. “It was one of my better celebrated birthdays in recent years”, she told DNA.
The 22-year-old actor is happy at the way her career is shaping, but is also irked with ‘rumours' that her parents were upset with her bold scenes in the film Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. “My parents are happy with the way I have graduated in my career —from television to Bollywood. Like any parents, they are happy with their child's success. I don't know from where this rumour of them being upset with me has come up from...”
So does that mean she's open to experimenting with her roles? “Which actor does not like to experiment with roles? Yes, I played the girl-next-door in my first lot of films, but now it's time to bring about a change. Once Upon... is the first step towards it!”
Prachi's wish-list includes working with Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Prateik Babbar. And what about her dream man? “At this point of time my boyfriend is my work. I just want to do better work.”
