Mumbai: Bhushan Kumar's T-Series has acquired the music rights of Zoya Akhtar's 'Dil Dhadakne Do' and Ritesh Deshmukh-Jacqueline Fernandes starrer 'Bangistan'.


"Our association with Excel goes back to the days of 'Dil Chahta Hai'. Excel Entertainment has some really exciting projects lined up for the future and we are glad to have acquired rights of their films 'Dil Dhadakne Do' and 'Bangistan'," Bhushan Kumar said in a statement here.

Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment said, "We are happy to have T-Series on board for our forthcoming film's music rights. From 'Dil Chahta Hai', 'Don', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' to 'Rock On', we have delivered hit albums and are looking forward for this new collaboration with T-Series for our future projects."

T-Series holds music rights of 'Dil Dhadakne Do', starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah. 'Bangistan', starring Ritesh Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandes and Pulkit Samrat, is directed by debutant Karan Anshuman.

The collaboration of T-Series continues with Excel Entertainment's forthcoming projects like 'Raees', starring Shah Rukh Khan, 'Rock On 2' and Reema Kagti's next film with Saif Ali Khan.
