After facing numerous controversies, MSG- The Messenger finally sees the day's light, and it can be said that it will woo the audience and with that we mean only Gurmeet Ram Rahim's ardent fans.

The singer-director-writer and of course the lead star of the flick Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insaan marks his debut in the film industry, which shall make way for some more of his kind with a different genre and audience.

The 190 minutes extended MSG opens with Guru ji (Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan), who is a spiritual leader and has a huge base of devotees. On one fortunate day, Guruji accepts a challenge of cleaning up the social evils like drugs and alcoholism from society and goes on to show his different (Rajinikanth) side.

But this isn't acceptable by some evil group who conspire to kill him. Predictably, our Guruji who is an amalgamation of Hollywood superheroes and Bollywood action stars will rebel and will win every time.

But on a serious note, the movie besides giving any logics to us is painted as promotion platform for the self-made God. The stage is set and Guruji in spite of lending any genuine entertainment to us lives his dream of being an actor and celebrates it throughout.

The movie has heart for its intention to eradicate social evils but hardly there are any appropriate solutions to it.  The story is refrained from any serious stuff and goes on to focus more on Rahim ji's weird all round qualities.

Sunny Deol's dhai kilo ka haath is decoded when ‘The Messenger' punches a wooden block to break it into tiny pieces. His stunts on bike would surely intimidate ‘Torque' makers while his rock star performance will make both ladies and gentlemen go crazy.

And if you still take all this seriously, you definitely need a session with a psychiatrics. But besides that if you a hard-core fan who has never bothered to understand film terminologies, you just might get pleased watching this flick.
