New Delhi: One of the most accomplished associations of Bollywood has now come to an end. Director Mohit Suri and the Bhatts are not together anymore.Giving us number of memorable films such as Zeher, Kalyug, Awarapan, Raaz – The Mystery Continues, Murder 2, Aashiqui 2 etc, this combination was one of the most successful in the film industry.
Apparently, Mohit was having differences with his uncles Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt over money matters.
According to a source, “Mohit has been unhappy about money matters for a while now. For Aashiqui 2 he was promised a certain amount, which he eventually did not get. This time he was very sure of the money that he wanted. But the Bhatts declined to pay what Mohit wanted. Mohit has parted ways with the Bhatts."
As a result of this, Mohit Suri will not be directing the third instalment of Aashiqui, even after the mega-success of Aashiqui 2.
After assisting director Vikram Bhatt on three films, Mohit got his first break as a director with Zeher, produced by Vishesh Films.
Suri last collaborated with the Bhatts on ‘Humari Adhuri Kahani' which turned out to be an average affair at the box office.
