Mumbai: The trailer of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte starrer 'Manjhi - The Mountain Man' is out. The film based on a true story of a labourer who single-handedly built a road through hill for the locals.
The trailer, which was released on July 13, has garnered 287,406 views just in a day.
Actress Radhika Apte said she was drawn to the upcoming film 'Manjhi - The Mountain Man' as she found its story incredible.
In the film, Radhika is playing the love interest and wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the Ketan Mehta-directed film, loosely based on the life of a poor labourer from Bihar, Dashrath Manjhi, who carved a path through a mountain using only a hammer and chisel.
"It's an inspiring story and I wanted to be part of it. I was like 'I had to get this part'," Radhika revealed at the trailer launch of the film.
