Mumbai: Salman Khan's upcoming action-drama ‘Sultan' has been in the news for a while now. From the superstar's preparation for his role to the speculation of who will be his leading lady, the film has been making headlines constantly.
Several Bollywood actresses like Deepika Padukone, Parineeti Chopra and Kriti Sanon have been rumoured to have bagged the role opposite Salman. But it seems like the makers have still not finalised their heroine.
As per the latest reports, it's now the Bigg Boss 9 contestant Mandana Karimi who is in talks for playing the lead opposite Salman Khan.
"Since the makers wanted a fresh face, there is a chance that they'd consider Mandana for the role," a source told leading news daily.
And what triggers off these reports is the fact that Salman has always favoured and defended the Iranian beauty on the show, so much that the other Bigg Boss 9 contestants have labelled her as Salman's favourite.
If Mandana lands up as the heroine in ‘Sultan', it will be a big step forward for her in Bollywood. She has already done ‘Bhaag Johnny' opposite Kunal Khemmu and her second film ‘Kya Super Kool Hain Hum 3' opposite Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani is all set to release on 22nd January 2016.
However, an official confirmation is awaited from Yash Raj Films if Mandana is the next ‘Khan' heroine.
