New Delhi: Mallika Sherawat is returning to the big screen after a long time with ‘Dirty Politics'. She'll be playing a character Anokhi Devi, who is from a small town of Rajasthan.

In an interview with a leading daily, Mallika talked about her preparation for the role. She hired a language teacher to add perfection to her role. Inspired from the infamous Bhanwri Devi case, the film has many intimate scenes involving Mallika and Om Puri.

Mallika said that shooting bed scenes with Om Puri was a tough task as he is a senior actor but he made her very comfortable during the shoots.

There has been a flood of erotic thrillers films in Bollywood recently. A lot of young actresses are doing bold scenes and they are quite comfortable with it. But it was Mallika who started the trend of bold characters in Bollywood with her role in ‘Murder'. Mallika feels quite proud with the sex symbol tag she got after doing back to back bold films.

Born in a small town of Haryana, Mallika feels great with her accomplishments in her life so far. She is the only Bollywood celeb who has met Barack Obama twice. She has achieved success in Bollywood and also has worked in Hollywood.

Talking about her family, Mallika says that initially her family did not approve of her profession but now they've come around and appreciate her feat.

Mallika also spoke of her mind on sensitive issues like scrutiny by censor board. She suggests that India should follow the rating system like US and let the audience decide what they want to watch.
