The unoriginal chain of events crops up many questions in your mind. Like being a cop, how could Angad take classes in college, why did Vikrant kidnap Sunaina when he could easily kidnap Sheenu for his loving daughter?
Twists and turns in the climax look forcibly inducted to give a feel of suspense, though, it doesn't work at all. The cop and the Don turning into comic characters were expected from it but despite all these hiccups, Main Tera Hero reaches its destination.
David Dhawan, though, doesn't take comedy to a new level but he sticks to his basic plans, which he has been following in his earlier dramas and that works in bits and pieces. Even, if he doesn't have his favourite Govida and bhai Salman Khan, he makes their presence felt with their mimicry in few scenes which brings smiles on your face.
