New Delhi: Ravi Chopra who gave television the show stopper series of ‘Mahabharat' lost his battle to life ealier today.
Son of producer-director B.R.Chopra and nephew of Yash Chopra, Ravi Chopra was suffering of lung cancer and took his last breath at 3PM today.
The 68 year old has directed movies namely, Zameer (1975), The Burning Train (1980), Mazdoor (1983), Dahleez (1986), Baghban (2003) and Baabul (2006).
After his father B.R.Chopra's demise, Ravi produced movies namely Bhoothnath and Bhoothnath Returns.
Earlier too, on 23 October 2012, he was diagnosed with a severe lung ailment and was discharged from Breach Candy hospital after a week.
The late director also made mythological shows like Vishnu Puran and Ma Shakti. He was expected to come back on television with his another mythological series, Vasudev Krishna in 2014-15.
