Film 3 Idiots actor R Madhvan had an accident on the sets of his Tamil film Vettai last week, hurting his knee.
He will now be have to fly down to Australia for further treatment and he might have to undergo surgery too, reports Mumbai Mirror.
Madhavan was injured during the shooting of 3 Idiots too.
The report quotes a source: “On November 9, Maddy was shooting in Chennai for Vettai. It had rained that day.
“Maddy wanted to finish the shoot since he had to a shoot scheduled in Mumbai the next day. However, during the shoot, Maddy slipped and injured his knee.
“While shooting for 3 Idiots, he had injured his same knee.”
“Needless to say, the shoot of Jodi Breakers with Bipasha Basu that was scheduled in Mumbai has now been delayed by a week.
“After this schedule is over, Maddy will be going to Australia for further treatment. Right now, he will be taking some physiotherapy sittings.
“However, if his condition doesn't improve, surgery is inevitable,” added the source.
