New Delhi: The dancing legend Madhuri Dixit has bowled us over with her magical moves many a times. Be it ‘Ek do teen', ‘Dhak Dhak' or ‘Chane Ke Khet Mein', she has managed to create a huge stir each time.
One of her most famous and loved dance number remains ‘Dola Re' alongside actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed ‘Devdas.' Everybody was in awe of the two gorgeous ladies when the song was released.
Now in SLB's latest flick ‘Bajirao Mastani', that features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, there is a song called ‘Pinga' that has the two leading ladies dancing together. And as soon as the song was released, people started comparing it with ‘Dola Re.'
Besides the fact that both the songs belong to a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, there's one more fact that triggered this comparison.
In the song ‘Dola Re', Paro (Aishwarya) and Chandramukhi (Madhuri) are dancing to celebrate their love for Devdas (Shah Rukh Khan) and in ‘Pinga', Mastani (Deepika) and Kashibai (Priyanka) are celebrating their love for Bajirao (Ranveer Singh).
When Madhuri Dixit was asked about her opinion on this comparison, the diva said, “I would say don't make comparisons and enjoy for what it is. I haven't seen the song yet as I am travelling.” She further added, “I am sure they would have done a great job as it is Deepika and Priyanka. I would say just enjoy for what it is. They also have worked hard for sure on their dance.”
‘Bajirao Mastani' is slated to hit the theatres on 18th December.
