For Ajay Mafatlal, the timing couldn't have been worse. Recently, his brother Atulya had blamed him and their mother Madhuri for his marital problems, following which Madhuri Mafatlal issued a public notice declaring that she “disowns Atulya Mafatlal as her son and legal heir”.
Ajay Mafatlal could not be contacted, but Madhoo insisted she hadn't “named anyone”. She said, “I pointed out to police that such envelope was posted to me, and it's up to them to investigate.”
